We perform chemical nickel plating, which is an innovative system of nickel plating. Surfaces treated with chemical nickel plating are perfectly regular, hard (up to 580 HV depending on the percentage of phosphorus), non porous and highly resistant to corrosion.
We usually perform medium phosphorus electroless nickel plating, ie with a 6 – 9 percentage of phosphorus in the deposit, which is characterized by weak magnetic properties. If a client needs a more corrosion resistant electroless nickel plating and/or a non-magnetic galvanic coating we can perform high phosphorus chemical nickel plating, with 10 – 12 % of phosphorus in the deposit.
The hardness of the nickel can be increased by heating in an oven at 400°C for one hour.
We are able to perform selective electroless nickel plating treatments targeted to coat only the surfaces required or to coat surfaces with different thicknesses in different areas.
